Field Trips

We are excited to host your School Group in 2024! Complete the interest form to connect to our Education Director. 

Longview World of Wonders offers public schools, private schools, and groups a unique opportunity to view museum exhibits in an exclusive school setting. With structured rotations, students will be able to view the exhibits and participate in fun hands-on, standards-based learning.

  • SPED or Special Needs public school teachers- please complete the interest form.
  • We can comfortably accommodate three public school sized elementary classes in our center (about 65 students).
  • If you need to bring a grade level from a larger campus that exceeds 65-75, you will need to book multiple field trip reservations to allow all students to visit.
  • We offer field trips on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays when we are not open to the public. Field trips are 1.5 hours in length. Time slots available are 8:45am-10:15am, 10:30am-12:00pm, and 12:15pm-1:45pm.

Summer Field Trip Information

  • Preschool, school, and school group visits are arranged as a private visit before the museum opening. We do not host school groups while we are open to the public. For specific questions regarding group visits in the summer, please email the Education Director.
  • Summer field trips will take place Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:30am-10am.
  • Summer field trips consist of of play in the permanent exhibits. Add-on lessons will resume September 2024.
  • Summer field trip costs: $150 base rate includes up to 30 children. Extra children can attend at the additional cost of $5 per child. The total number of children in a group visit should total no more than 65. If you have specific questions regarding the size of your group, please email the Education Director.
  • A $50 deposit is required to book online, and that amount will be applied to your base rate cost.
