• Custom Energy Table Exhibit: A hands-on, high-energy way for kids to learn about the forces that power our world.
• The Building Zone Exhibit: A brand-new launch pad for mini-architects and engineers to design, build, and test their creations.
• Interactive Art Wall: A vibrant, collaborative space where kids can leave their creative mark using color and light.A Better Flow for Families: We are Relocating the Beloved Train Exhibit to a new, optimized home on the museum floor to improve traffic flow and give it the spotlight it deserves.
Safe Play for Our Smallest Explorers: We are creating a Dedicated Infant & Toddler Space—a soft, secure, and developmentally focused environment where our littlest wanderers can explore safely away from the big-kid hustle.

If Phase 1 was about setting the stage, Phase 2 is about completely transforming how our community experiences the museum from the very second they walk through the door. We are expanding our worlds of play, streamlining our space, and bringing in a massive, highly anticipated anchor exhibit!
What We Are Building Together
Phase 2 focuses on reimagining our footprint to create a seamless, immersive, and utterly unforgettable adventure for every child and parent who visits.

A Seamless Welcome (Reconfigured Visitor Entry Area): No more bottleneck lines or cramped check-ins! We are entirely redesigning our front entrance to make arrival smooth, accessible, and welcoming, so the fun can start the moment you step inside.
A Bustling, Reimagined “Town” Area: Our miniature community is getting a major upgrade. We are expanding and enhancing the Town area to offer deeper, more interactive role-playing experiences where kids can practice being everyday heroes—from grocers and mechanics to doctors and mayors.
The Ultimate Splash (Custom Water Table Exhibit): You asked, we listened! We are introducing a massive, state-of-the-art, custom-designed Water Table. This sensory powerhouse will teach kids about fluid dynamics, engineering, and physics through the best medium possible: splashing around!
The Total Transformation: By combining a smoother entryway, an expanded role-play town, and a brand-new water exhibit, Phase 2 ties our entire vision together into a world-class, cohesive learning environment.

Welcome to the grand finale of our journey—Phase 3 of the Longview WOW Capital Campaign: Inspiring Future Innovators. This final phase is all about pushing boundaries, encouraging big dreams, and giving East Texas kids the tools they need to become the problem-solvers, creators, and leaders of tomorrow.
With Phase 3, we are bridging the gap between physical adventure and high-level critical thinking.
The Vision for Phase 3
To inspire the next generation of innovators, we are introducing two massive, state-of-the-art installations that challenge both the mind and the body:
A Fully-Equipped STEAM Lab: This will be our museum’s ultimate innovation hub. A dedicated, high-tech space where Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math collide. From coding and robotics to messy chemistry experiments and high-flying design challenges, this lab will host advanced workshops, school programs, and open-ended tinkering for kids of all ages.
A Nature-Themed Climbing Structure: Innovation requires risk-taking, confidence, and resilience—and sometimes, that starts with physical play! We are building an epic, towering indoor climbing structure inspired by the beautiful landscapes of East Texas. Kids will test their limits, develop gross motor skills, and gain a brand-new perspective on the museum from high above the floor.
